    • Beatdom now has its own social network at www.beatdom.ning.com. It's primitive, but it's a good forum for uniting the Beat Generation fans of this world.

    • Beatdom editor-in-chief, David Wills, appeared at St. Andrews' StAnza poetry festival on the 15th March, selling subscriptions and copies of the magazine.
    • Also in attendance were The Fauves, a Dundee band with an unusual passion for chess and anything they deem 'peng'.
