Mauling Press
Mauling Press has been around for two years, busy publishing the wonderful Beatdom magazine. We've also published several other books by Beatdom contributors. We have joined forces with City of Recovery Press to publish short books about late twentieth century literature. Our primary focus will be the Beat Generation, but our first publication will be the two part chapbook exploration of the works of Hunter S. Thompson, Fact and Fiction in Las Vegas, by David S. Wills. We are also in talks with three authors to bring you books about Jack Kerouac, Gregory Corso and Gary Snyder. Our aim is to bring you these short books (50-100 pages) by 2010. We are looking for books similar to those listed above. We want literary criticism that is fast and fun to read. Our demands are simple: we went good ideas at first, and we're willing to work with authors to create great books. Don't worry about font and line spacing...
