The Beatdom Store You've probably heard about Beatdom through a friend, or stumbled upon our website through some internet link whilst researching the Beat Generation, and if you've come to this page and are reading these words, then you've probably thought to yourself that it's about time you owned a copy of Beatdom. You could have one for free... But only a downloadable copy, sadly. The real hard copies cost real hard money. But regardless of whether you want a download or a hard copy, then follow the links below... This is the very first issue of Beatdom, containing interviews with Barry Gifford, Paul Krassner, Ken Babbs and Zane Kesey. We also have a talented group of writers and photographers, who have put together a magazine with features relating the Beat Generation to Buddhism, Bob Dylan, Hunter S Thompson and Walt Whitman; and guides to Beat books, websites and stories.
Issue Two of Beatdom magazine, packed with reviews, poetry, fiction, art, photography and features on everything Beatnik. Our key features for Issue Two are on the Women of the Beat Generation, and on the Life of Gregory Corso.
Issue Three of Beatdom magazine is found here on our very own website. There's no need to open your wallet or download a file. Just click the link and read it - it's that easy. This issue has more of the same - quality Beat inspired writing. We have a guide to every character in Kerouac's novels, as well as a visual 'map' of his On the Road.
The fourth issue of Beatdom celebrates the life and work of Jack Kerouac, upon the fortieth anniversary of his death. We have essays by Kerouac experts and scholars, to allow the best possible examination of his legacy. We also focus on the women of the Beat Generation once again, and incorporate the perspectives of their contemporaries in 'Visions of Vollmer'. The poetry section of Issue Four includes work by the hiphop star, Scroobius Pip, as well as Beatdom favourite, Nathan Dolby. We have interviews with Carolyn Cassady and Gary Snyder, and the memoirs and unpublished photographs of Allen Ginsberg's assistant.

Godless: Fragments of Contemporary Society
A collection of seven short stories detailing lives lived without God, exploring
the true meaning of life. 'Godless' examines people on the fringes of society,
living lives in search of the small pleasures that make life worthwhile.
Join us on a journey of chaos to the very heart of art. Take a tour of Dundee's seedier sides and witness the creation of works of 'art' by non-artists, and then sit back a see the bare face cheek it took to sneak these monstrosities into the country's premier art exhibition to be judged by thousands of artists and critics. This is the book that documents the project that created the concept of guerrilla art and made a legend of a non-existent figure. BLACK&WHITE VERSION
City of Recovery Press/ Mauling Press Mauling Press, the publishers of Beatdom magazine, have joined forces with City of Recovery Press to release books about the Beat Generation, and other 20th Century literature. Currently, CoRP publish literary fiction and are looking to expand their list of authors (see their website). However, this new venture will bring you books about Gregory Corso and Hunter S.
