Beatdom Books is proud to present two new novels set for a 2011 release. The first is Spencer Kansa‘s Zoning, which William S. Burroughs described as “an urban Celine.”
Spencer Kansa has written for a wide variety of publications including Hustler, Mojo, Erotic Review and The NME. He is the author of Wormwood Star, a biography of the American artist and occult icon Marjorie Cameron (Mandrake of Oxford). His interviews with literary icons William Burroughs, Allen Ginsberg, Paul Bowles and Herbert Huncke feature in Joe Ambrose’s book Chelsea Hotel Manhattan (Headpress).
Kansa has written for Beatdom twice – the first was about Burroughs’ role as a “heavy metal guru” and featured a photo of the two men together, and the second was an interview with Carolyn Cassady.
To learn about Zoning please visit the BB website. For more about Kansa, see his website: www.spencerkansa.com.
The second book is David S. Wills’ long-awaited novel about ESL teaching in South Korea, The Dog Farm. The novel revolves around the shady world of drunken teachers in a strange and unwelcoming country.
David S. Wills is the editor and founder of Beatdom magazine and an occasional travel writer. He blogs frequently at his own website: www.davidswills.com.

Congratulations to both the new authors. Especially to David I’ve loved your writing for years. So glad to see the Dog Farm finally published.
Thanks, Paul. It’s only me who’s the new author, though. Kansa already has one book under his belt.
i hate the way the featured stories move so fast on the homepage…when you click on one to comment, by the time you clock, it has switched to the next topic. it ought to be cut down to switch less often, like half as fast as now…
